"The Girl Who Overcame Time... and the Boy Who Was Just Overcome" 15 year-old Kagome Higurashi is dragged down the sealed well at her family shrine, only to find herself transported back to feudal Japan. There she meets InuYasha, Kaede and the centipede mononoke, Mistress Centipede. The first season of the anime series InuYasha aired in Japan on Animax from October 16, 2000 through May 21, 2001.
