There is lots of hype around "My Plate" as it takes over as the new icon of healthful eating. Gone are the old pyramid's references to sugars, fats or oils. North Kansas City Hospital dietitian, Janet Anderson, says the icon is easy to understand and gives people a good guide for planning a healthy meal.
